In 2014 at 17 years old my first book was published about Little Alf – ‘The magical adventure of Little Alf – The discovery of the wild pony’ after Little Alf gained a large online following, with my blog posts getting longer and longer the only solution was to write a children’s book about him and his adventures. After the success of the first book, I went on and published a second book about Little Alf in 2015 ‘The magical adventure of Little Alf – The Enchanted forest’ and then later that year published a Christmas sequel ‘Little Alf the magic helper.’ In 2015 at 18 years old we received 3 amazing awards for the Little Alf books and gained recognition across the UK and international press, which is where we were picked up by a literacy agency and publishing company in London.
In 2016 my fourth children’s book was published about Little Alf – ‘The magical adventure of Little Alf – The secrets in the wood.' Little Alf's following had grown even more and he was beginning to get recognised all over the world.
In 2017 Little Alf and I received a very special award from HRH Princess Ann for ‘Long-term recognition’ towards the RDA – Riding for the Disabled Association. This was an amazing honour and priviledge.
In October 2017 mine & Little Alf’s memoir was published with Little Brown Publishing, ‘Little Alf – the true story of a pint size pony who found his forever home’ the book covers all of Little Alf’s cheeky adventures and how he became an online star, it also includes our journey from the moment Little Alf came to live with me to our current life today. The Memoir was instantly one of amazon's 'Best Selling' books of 2017.
In Summer 2017 we opened up the first Little Alf shop located in 'Leyburn' the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the shop has now been open over a year and in 2018 we welcomed our first overseas visitors.
